Hi, my name is Emina.

I am an electrical power and a software engineer. Moving from Montenegro to New York within four months, I succeed in becoming accepted in a highly selective web development program with a 3% acceptance rate, App Academy. After an intensive 16 weeks program, I gained knowledge of numerous technologies that are listed below. Moving to the US felt like a survival game, and I'm still finding my way up.

I am a big nature lover, explorer, and traveler. My hobby is getting to know as many languages as I can; last year was German; now it is Spanish, and next will be Arabic. Getting connected with people from different parts of the world is always a humbling and eye-opening experience.

I enjoy problem-solving and engineering a vision from scratch. My passion was to design and build something that will make a positive impact on the world we live in. Before coding, I graduated top of my class in Electrical Engineering with a highly-rated thesis titled "Ferroresonance modeling in electric power plant using MathLAB." The study of physics and mathematics of electricity, electromagnetism, and electronics to large and small scale systems to process information and transmit energy helped me develop a critical and problem-solving way of thinking.
